Life jackets are included in the charter. When necessary a 1st mate may be required so that Moonbeam can be sailed safely for the charter.

Single day Charter
West from Southsea Marina
Meet early morning  Southsea marina. Introduction and safety brief. 
Leave promptly normally around 0800hrs.
Passage to Osbourne Bay anchor for lunch.
Alternative options include Folly Inn/Priory Bay/ Seaview YC.
It is possible to swim off boat at Osbourne Bay and Priory Bay. 
Return to Southsea early evening and departure home.
East from Southsea Marina
Passage to Chichester harbour,  
Berth for Lunch at the Ship Inn.  Alternatively lunch at anchor East head.
Return Passage to Southsea early evening and departure home.

Overnight Charter 
Day 1 : Meet early Southsea marina 
Introduction and safety brief. Expect to leave around 0800hrs
Passage to Beaulieu River and Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour via Solent
Alternative options include Folly Inn or Cowes for the overnight berth. Sleep on board

Day 2: Breakfast Return Passage to Southsea, with plenty of additional options such as lunch at Priory Bay or Osbourne bay on way.
Arrive Southsea tea time. 

2 Night  Charter
Day 1 : Meet early Southsea marina
Introduction and safety brief.
Depart near to 0800hrs. 
Passage to Yarmouth Harbour or Lymington Marina for overnight berth.
Choice of Evening meal in local restaurant or pub or eat on board. 

Day 2: Plan day with local spot to anchor for lunch such as Alum Bay possibly ashore for lunch.
Choice of overnight berths  in Newtown/ Beaulieu/Hamble/Cowes.
Choice of Evening meal in local restaurant pub or on board. 
Return passage to Southsea marina.

Extended Charters
Start from Southsea
Meet  Southsea marina. Introduction and extended safety brief. 

There are many destinations such as Brighton, Poole, Littlehampton that all can be reached in a single day's sail fepending on weather and tide but the passage can be eased by overnight stops eg Yarmouth on the way to Poole.
Cross Channel Passages
Cherbourg is about 65NM  and therefore  some of the  passage would be at night.  A simple passage example would be SouthSea/Cherbourg/Aurigny/Yarmouth/Southsea. Five days would be a reasonable allocation for this plan.

Provisioning, eating and cooking on a boat is an art in it's own right. In general, it is best if the food requirements are discussed before the charter as space including fridge space  is limited. Therefore the following are provided

Included in all charters: 
Tea Coffee Light snacks are all included in the charter price.
Breakfast: Various Cereals etc. 

Lunch on board: 
This is Picnic style food  that can be eaten in the cockpit on the go or more formally when at anchor. In general, easy to eat, cold meats, cheese bread salad etc. Hot Soups, Cornish Pasties or Samosas are options  depending on time of year.
Additional Meals:
Cooked breakfasts can be arranged by prior arrangement.

Evening meals: 
These not included in the charter price. However, they can be provided on request at an additional charge. Many clients  take the opportunity to eat ashore, or alternatively have evening drinks ashore and return to eat on board. The evening meal  theme is   “hearty” meals eg. beef stew, vegetable curry and rice etc all most welcome after a day sailing.

Any wine or beer drinks on board is supplied by the client unless specifically otherwise arranged.

Please note no one is allowed to drink alcohol during the day, whether at anchor or underway until we are safely anchored or berthed for the evening.
