Yacht Charter Sukosan

A short distance from Zadar Airport, the small town of Sukosan is home to the largest marina on the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea, and is a main base for the yacht charter holiday industry in Croatia.

Though one of the best beaches is in the 1,200 yacht capacity D-Marin Dalmacija marina, Sukosan has close to 10km of beautiful beaches along its protected bay that give you the opportunity to escape the crowds should you wish.

As well as the beaches and sailing you will soon find other things to enjoy in the village. You will find some excellent restaurants serving Croat cuisine, five national parks within striking distance, and the hustle and bustle of Zadar just 7km up the coast.

Though a jumping off point for many to explore the Adriatic coast of Croatia, this is definitely a village to quietly lose yourself in its own right should you wish.

Explore Sukosan By Renting A Yacht

A Sukosan yacht charter is easy with Borrow A Boat. Whether on a bareboat charter or skippered yacht charter you will pay your fee to the charter company, present any yachting qualifications and inspect the charter boat before casting off to explore the islands and coastline of Croatia.

With Rijeka to the north and Split to the south, not to mention the Kornati archipelago within striking distance on a sailing holiday, Sukosan is rightly considered one of the top boat rental hubs in Croatia. Within range are a number of different destinations that suit different tastes from quiet National Parks to wild party towns, or historic towns and villages that haven't changed through time.
