Introducing the stunning Princess Y78, MIO BARCO, new to the charter market for 2025. This amazing yacht has everything you need for a dream charter in the Balearics. There are 4 spacious and comfortable cabins with ensuite bathrooms all of which are light & airy with beautiful details. Then you have an enormous flybridge with generous sunbathing and seating areas, not to mention an amazing bow area. The addition of an excellent crew who look after your every need and know all of the best locations in Mallorca, makes this yacht your perfect choice.

Cabin arrangements

The Princess Y78 has 4 spacious cabins which can sleep up to 8 guests overnight. These cabins consist of a master cabin, VIP cabin and 2 double/twin cabins. Furthermore the full beam master cabin is a beautiful space with plenty of natural light, there is a large en-suite bathroom, spacious dressing area and comfortable sofa to relax. All cabins have an en-suite bathroom and there is a separate crew cabin with ensuite for the crew.

Capacity

MIO BARCO II can sleep up to 8 guests overnight and the maximum capacity during the day is 12.

Crew

The 3 crew are excellent on MIO BARCO. There is a Captain, Stewardess/cook and a deckhand. The Captain and Cook/Stew have received excellent reviews from the last 2 years on the owners previous yacht. In addition they also know the islands very well, speak Spanish and English and are a great team.

Tender and toys

Toys include Donut, Water skis, Mono Ski, Wakeboard, Two stand up paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Other toys can also be arranged.

Home Port

The home port for MIO BARCO is Palma. The berth is included in the price.

Security deposit

A refundable €2,000 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.

Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA)

An advance provisioning allowance (APA) of 35% covers fuel, crew, provisions, and other trip expenses. The captain tracks all costs, and any difference is settled at check-out - you'll either receive a refund or pay the balance.

Insurance

This boat is managed by a professional charter company with comprehensive insurance. Your liability for damages is limited to the security deposit. For added peace of mind, you can protect your deposit by purchasing deposit insurance.

When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?

The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.

What is the Charter Fee?

The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.

Are there any other costs I should be aware of?

There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
