The Motonautica Vesuviana MV Touring 740 inflatable boat (total length 7.98 metres), named "Gommone 798", is ideal for groups who want to sail in complete safety accompanied by one of our Skippers.
The maximum capacity is 26 people, but we advise not to exceed 12 people so as not to feel too cramped.
The 798 inflatable boat is equipped with large spaces, comfortable seats and every accessory that can make the experience at sea pleasant and comfortable. In detail, the Gommone 798 offers a large sundeck at the bow, a bench in front of the driving position, a driving bench, a stern sofa with foldable backrest, two large stern platforms with boarding ladder, a bow table, an icebox for drinks and an XXL size awning with four arches.
This inflatable boat has been equipped with a very reliable 225 hp Honda BF 4-stroke engine, with low fuel consumption (when planing at low speeds around 30 liters per hour), and with excellent performance with a cruising speed of 25 knots and maximum peaks of around 42 knots.

When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?
The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.
What is the Charter Fee?
The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
