Beneteau Cyclades 50.5

The boat is from 2006, Beneteau Cyclades 50.5. It has 5 cabins + skipper cabin with a seperate entrance and 3 toilets (maximum 10 guests + crew). 4 of the cabins have double bed and the 5th one has got the bunk bed. Very well maintained. Among other equipment, the boat has dinghy with a tohatsu outboard motor, gas cooker + gas stove, refrigerator, lots of storage place, 3 independent tanks of water (1000 litres). Each year the technical inspection of the boat is made by Lloyd’s register. In case of emergency the boat is equiped with: satelite device EPIRB - Emergency Position Indicating Radio Bacon (second as a back up), various pirotechnics, marine DSC radio plus handheld VHF, electronic active radar reflector, life raft (second as a back up) and personal life jackets. For our lovely crews we have some snorkelling equipment and some Inflatable toys for swimming.

We have 15 years of experience in organising sailing holidays in Greece and Caribbean, having thousands of happy customers on board of our S/Y ZORBA from all over the world.

Greece is our second home and during the last 15 years we have prepared well-proven routes and attractions arranged with locals and a variety of their services. In Greece we organise sailing holidays in Saronic or in Cyclades.The sailing daily distances depend on our guests mood - we are flexible in adjusting to their needs. Each night we are showing our guests well selected and our favorite Tavernas with absolutely amazing local food and wine.

During all our trips we try to stay far away from tourist crowds - in the small harbours or on anchorages next to desert islands (excluding goats and birds). Each day we stop for swimming in beautiful bays - some of them completely wild, others with one small taverna, serving for lunch fresh fish and seafood (often taken out of the water before our eyes). For our guests we offer a possibility of jogging/yoga in the morning, organic food on board and a healthy lifestyle close to wild nature. Friendly local people and lots of tasty food and wine are the common features for all the islands that we visit. 

Since we always sail together, roles are well shared between us. Greg (55yrs old) is a captain with 25 years of experience at sea, crossing the Atlantic twice a year, who started his adventure in a sport sailing in Regattas. His responsibility is our guest's safety, which is a priority. Me - Aga (30yrs old) - As i am a film producer, i take care of all the logistics and our guests comfort. My role is to make them feel like home. I am their tour guide, resident, friend and sometimes psychologist :) I believe together we offer a safe and unforgettable experience. 

We are both well-skilled sailors so taking part in sailing maneuvers is optional for those who would like to learn and spend their holidays in an active way. We teach sailing basics, safety on board, knots, steering, mooring ect. No sailing experience is needed. Those who just wish to sunbathe and relax on deck are free to do so. Additionally, Greg is an International Sailing School Association (ISSA) instructor with the possibility to issue a skipper certificate.

What is more, we help with all the logistics - we can organise transport from the airport directly to the boat. We go shopping together, we help in everyday life issues and treat our guests like members of our sailing family. That is what I believe makes us unique :)
