The Ocean Star 51.2 is a yacht that epitomizes many of the best qualities of the Ocean Star range. Ease of handling is ensured as all controls and winches are placed within easy reach of the helmsman, whilst spray protection is provided by a fold away spray hood and a bimini top covering the entire cockpit to protect guests from the sun (both optional). The in mast furling is standard, while the teak decks add to its sense of class. Standard equipment includes the roller furling system, the lead fin keel, throttle, fuel tank indicators and switches panel board in the helmsman seat. Furthermore, there are self tailing winches, sparcraft boom-vang with hydraulic piston and goiot aluminum toe rails with 6 fairleads.

Security deposit
A refundable €3,000 security deposit will have to be paid at check-in. Like car rentals, boat charters require a refundable security deposit to cover accidental damage. The amount varies by boat model and is returned after inspection if no damage is found.

When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?
The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.
What is the Charter Fee?
The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.
