Why Start Your Catamaran Route in Lefkas City?

Zero Island-Ferry Hassle: The greatest advantage of renting a catamaran in Lefkas Town is the floating bridge connecting the island to the Greek mainland. You can fly into Preveza Airport (PVK) and take a 30-minute taxi straight to the marina, completely avoiding the time-consuming Greek ferry system.

  • Modern Marina Facilities: Catamarans are exceptionally wide, which can make docking in tiny fishing villages stressful. Lefkas Marina is a world-class D-Marin facility with wide, safe berths designed specifically to accommodate large multihulls.
  • Premium Provisioning: The marina is located right next to the bustling city center. You have immediate access to large supermarkets to easily load bulky provisions directly onto your catamaran.
  • The Inland Sea: Heading south from Lefkas instantly opens up a highly protected sailing area between Lefkada, Meganisi, Ithaca, and Kefalonia. With no ocean swell, your catamaran will remain perfectly flat at anchor.
Captain's Insider Tip: The Lefkas Canal "When departing Lefkas Marina, you must pass through the Lefkas Canal to reach the open sea. The floating bridge at the northern entrance opens every hour on the hour. Because your catamaran is wide, take your time passing through the channel, and plan your checkout time so you don't get stuck waiting for the bridge!"
