Hand luggage and suitcases on board

Updated 30 September 2026 · 1 min read

Bring soft bags, not hard suitcases. Storage space on a boat is limited, and many charter companies ask guests to use duffel bags.

  • They are hard to stow: they do not fold and take up a lot of space in the cabin.
  • They can scratch or damage the paint and surfaces on board.

A soft duffel bag can be folded away once you have unpacked. Arriving with suitcases anyway? Some bases can store luggage: Luggage storage at the base
