Frequently asked questions

What happens when I request a quote?
Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you - free of charge.
When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?
The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.
What is the Charter Fee?
The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether you’re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boat’s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.

BVI Catamaran Rental: The Sailing Capital of the Caribbean

Experience the ultimate tropical island-hopping adventure from the deck of a spacious multihull. A catamaran rental in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) is the quintessential Caribbean vacation. Famous for its calm, line-of-sight navigation across the Sir Francis Drake Channel and consistent trade winds, the BVI is a sailor's paradise. With a shallow draft, chartering a catamaran allows you to access the spectacular coral reefs of Anegada and drop anchor just yards away from the legendary white-sand beaches of Jost Van Dyke.

Why Rent a Catamaran in the BVI?

The Anegada Advantage: While the BVI is generally deep and easy to navigate, the stunning coral island of Anegada is surrounded by a massive, shallow reef. A catamaran’s low draft is essential for safely entering this anchorage to enjoy the world-famous local lobster.

  • Expansive Outdoor Living: The BVI is all about outdoor relaxation. Catamarans offer massive forward nets for sunbathing and wide aft cockpits, giving your group plenty of space to dine al fresco after a day of snorkeling.
  • Unmatched Stability: Enjoy a peaceful, flat platform both underway and at anchor, ensuring everyone on board feels completely relaxed while enjoying a Painkiller cocktail at sunset.
Captain’s Insider Tip: Mooring Balls and The Baths “The BVI has an excellent National Parks mooring ball system. To secure a buoy at popular spots like The Baths on Virgin Gorda or The Bight at Norman Island, aim to arrive by 11:00 AM or noon. Alternatively, use your catamaran's stability to anchor slightly further out in comfort!”

Top-Rated Catamarans in the BVI

Explore our most popular luxury multihulls departing from Tortola:

  • Lagoon 620: A flagship crewed catamaran boasting vast living spaces, en-suite cabins, and supreme comfort for large families or groups of friends.
