Frequently asked questions

What happens when I request a quote?
Once we receive your request, we will confirm the availability of the boat, as well as check for alternative ones. To ensure your experience is the best it can be, we may contact you to discuss your request in detail. Let us do the research for you - free of charge.
When can I get in touch with the captain/skipper?
The timing depends on your charter type. For crewed charters, we can provide the captain's contact details upon request. For bareboat charters with a hired skipper, you can request the contact information 1-3 weeks before departure.
What is the Charter Fee?
The Charter Fee is an additional, obligatory cost, which typically includes the end cleaning of the boat, home port fees, and linen & towels. The details of the charter fee differ depending on the boat, location and charter partner.
Are there any other costs I should be aware of?
There are marina fees and fuel costs which vary depending on the type, duration and location of your sailing holiday. Marina fees need to be paid at each marina you choose to dock overnight - the amount varies but you may be able to find this information in advance by contacting the marinas directly. Fuel costs depend on whether youโ€™re sailing a motorboat or a sailboat. You can estimate fuel costs by double-checking your chosen boatโ€™s engine, and the expected distance you aim to sail.

Why Rent a Catamaran from Trogir?

Zero Stress Start: You can land at the airport and be on your boat in under 15 minutes. This is invaluable when travelling with children or heavy luggage.

  • Immediate Swim Stops: From Trogir, you are only 45 minutes away from the famous Blue Lagoon (Krknjaลกi) on Drvenik Veli. Itโ€™s the perfect first anchorage for a swim before heading further south.
  • Modern Marinas: SCT Trogir and Marina Baotiฤ‡ are purpose-built for large catamarans, offering luxury showers, pools, and wide fairways for stress-free docking.
  • Space & Stability: Our Trogir fleet focuses on comfort. Twin hulls mean no heeling (tipping), so you can enjoy lunch on the aft deck while cruising towards ล olta.
Captain's Insider Tip: "Trogir's old town is a labyrinth of stone. Before you set sail on Saturday afternoon, visit the local green market right next to the bridge. You can buy fresh figs, homemade olive oil, and local goat cheese to stock your galley for the week."

Top-Rated Catamarans in Trogir

Trogir hosts some of the newest and largest multihulls in Croatia. Here are three favorites:

  • Lagoon 450 S: The 'SporTop' version of the legend. It features a lower helm station, which allows the skipper to communicate easily with the rest of the crew in the cockpit. Ideally suited for social groups.
  • Lagoon 50: A new-generation yacht with massive interior volume. The rigging is moved aft, making the mainsail easier to handle, while the flybridge offers incredible views.
  • Lagoon 52F: Pure luxury. With a huge flybridge and vertical bows, this yacht offers hotel-grade cabins and is perfect for a skippered or fully crewed charter.

Logistics

Check-in: Most charters start on Saturday at 17:00. However, because Trogir is so close to the airport, many guests arrive early. We recommend dropping your bags at the charter office and exploring the UNESCO Old Town while you wait for your boat to be cleaned.
