Does my chartered yacht come with a dinghy or tender?

Yes. Every charter yacht longer than 7 m comes with a dinghy.

What is a dinghy?

A dinghy (or tender) is a small inflatable boat. When your yacht is at anchor, you use it to get to the beach, a restaurant or the harbor, and to move around the boat.

Is there an outboard engine?

Dinghies come with oars, and many can take a small outboard engine. The outboard often costs extra, unless the charter company includes it or gives it for free. Check your booking or ask us.

Using the dinghy safely

  • Everyone in the dinghy wears a life jacket.
  • Tie the dinghy securely to the yacht when you are not using it, so it cannot drift away.
