An Owner's Version (OV) is a yacht layout in which the master cabin is larger and has its own bathroom (en suite). The name comes from private yachts, where the owner takes the big cabin.
What is different in an Owner's Version?
The master cabin is bigger and more comfortable than the other cabins on board, and it has a private bathroom. Its exact size and layout depend on the size and model of the yacht.
Can I charter a yacht with an Owner's Version?
Yes. The layout is common on private yachts, but some charter yachts have it too. It suits couples or families who want one cabin with extra space and privacy.
Keep in mind that the bigger master cabin takes space that would otherwise be another cabin, so an Owner's Version usually sleeps fewer people than the standard version of the same model. Check the number of cabins and berths in the boat details before you book.
